K, so you know those "Warehouse Auctions" you hear about sometimes right? Basically, they seal a warehouse, fill it with random crap, and then people bid on it. Winning bid wins the warehouse, and all the crap, or valuable things, in it.
This relates to my idea very well. See, yesterday I had an overstock of potions, so I took a ton of random ones, stuffed 'em in a small chest, and held a "Sealed Chest Auction" on the border of my realm. Once the bidding began, it escalated all the way up to 10.5K, and there's where it stopped. I made 10k credits from a ton of random potions. I theorize you could basically put anything into the chest, even auction a thing of dirt, although auctioning crappy stuff will most likely end the auctions since no one will trust anything. The idea behind this is for all the bidder knows, there are a crapton of high level weapons, or rare materials, or whatever. Then, you can make money and people can use the things they win. You don't even necessarily need to put useful things at all, but once again, it will ruin the business of "Sealed Chest Auctions".
