I've heard way to much talk about this. And I have yet to see a resource that says diamonds are renewable from villager trading or seeing the trade for myself. All I have seen is villagers giving emeralds for diamonds and not the other way around. Sure, diamond swords, armor, and tools are renewable, but not diamonds themselves. And, thus, not diamond blocks or jukeboxes.

To be clear, I'm agreeing that diamonds are not renewable and cannot be obtained from villagers.

Please prove me wrong.

This is what I refer to. It doesn't point to diamonds being renewable. Yet, many players say otherwise. I just want to get this straightened out so I can stop correcting people or people correcting me.

Diamonds themselves, no.

You can, however, get diamond objects (armor, weapons, tools) from villagers by trading renewable resources.
