I want to see how intense each employed individual's work-life can be. Post below about your crazy days at work, whether they are funny, difficult, or anything abnormal!

Last night at Papa Johns...
~300+ orders = An estimated 900-1200 items(not always pizzas i.e. breadsticks) to be made = An estimated 8-9k made in one night (for a pizza place! That's huge)
Delivery time was 2 hours... Carryout time was 1 hour!
We had to call in 4 other skilled workers from around the area!
We had (probably a store, not national) record of 194 items made in one hour!
Barely any space, it was crazy!

It's not my my job that's insane, but my schedule. Every weekday I work 7p.m.-11p.m. cleaning a professional building. Every M W F S, I work at 7-eleven from 5a.m.-12p.m. Then I'm a full-time student taking 4 courses. Sometimes my day starts with me waking up at 4a.m., heading to work at 5a.m. and working until noon, then heading to class right after for 3 hours. By the time I get home I'll have 3 hours to kill before work again, and most of them are spent studying.

My most intense day of work. Well I have three situations that kinda tie.

First) Received an annomus drug complant at a dirt bag motel. Knocked on the door several times with no answer. We check the door handle to see if it is locked and heard the occupant say "oh f*** no this anit happening" and then rack the slide of a pistol. He was smart and put the gun down when we told him we were the popo.

Second) 3rd party caller said there was a possible burglury of an apartment in progress. I rounded the open front door of the apartment and found two males fighting over a pistol. Did not know who was the good guy and who was the bad guy. They dropped the pistol when I told them to and no one got shot, thank goodness.

Third) We were responding to a bar fight. Everyone was flooding out of the bar and I heard a female say "does he have a gun." I looked and a male had his right hand in his left breast jacket pocket. At gun point the male would not remove his hand from his pocket after I told him to do so 3 times. He later tried to ditch the pistol under the car I was slaming him up against it.

In those instances I almost had to kill someone, so I believe those were my most intence days at any work.

Cause the best thing to do when you're being arrested, you of course say "Oh f***!" It'll make you seem so innocent :p
My job sucks, so I won't even waste my time posting it.

Hippo, even if your job sucks we would stilll like to hear about it (or atleast I would). It is all about communty bounding. We all have sucky jobs or bad days at work or etc... don't worry about what others will think.

relatively intense day today... my cell rings at 7:30am (for once I am asleep still)..I see its work... "hello" "hi, Jen, I can't log into the system on any of the computers". Apparently when the EHR software did it's nightly maintenance it hosed the system. And of course its Saturday and the software company we use isn't open on the weekends. So, 2 hours of phone calls and luckily having a person with a brain in the office so I can walk her through trying things instead of having to go in in my pjs :) and we were able to get her through the morning on one system. Luckily there is only one doctor in the office on Saturdays, so not too busy. Will be more intense Monday morning when we have all doctors in the office and everyone wants their system up NOW! And I'll still have to be ready to give my proposal for our social media marketing plan at our lunch meeting (was going to have plenty of time to finish preparations, make copies to hand out, etc...hehe "plenty of time" never exists :) ). I will enjoy the weekend, because Monday will be interesting.
