Hey everyone! I just got a new RC car, and I would like to know some tips (If you have any) for using it.

Here are some specs:
1/18 scale (9 inches long 7.5 inches wide( tiny))
Supposedly up to 40mph (it didn't seem to go nearly that fast)
7.2 volt NiMh 1100MaH battery
400MaH charger (light isn't turning on. Broken?)

Wow mitchie, that thing looks cool! But I don't have much money, or too many large wide open non windy places near my house. I just dropped $116 dollars on this car, so I am not going to buy stuff now, but hopefully in a few years it will be mine.

A cousin of mine has a car that looks really similar to that.....

Yeah, the ar drone is quite expensive i had a bunch of Christmas money left over last year or some time.

The ar drone 2.0 is coming out Q2 this year and Intelli and I are excited for it

Cameras are easy to rig up to anything you want really.



Pick up one of these little guys for $15, add some duct tape or whatever you need to jury rig it to the car/plane/helicopter/rocket, and have some fun.

I had some great times with this, especially combined with helium balloons.

Surprisingly funny being able to see things you wouldn't normally see. Also, crashes and malfunctions are so much better when you get to film them.

What happens when a very large model rocket (N-3500 motor, which if you know anything about rocketry, is absolutely massive) fails to pop it's parachute and instead comes in as a ballistic missile from 30,000ft of altitude.

Rockets are fun, and I've used a couple, but I have no good places to fly them nearby. Also, where do you get those cameras?

A lot of places will sell them under different brand names. A good place to look is toy stores and general electronics stores (radioshack, the source, future shop, best buy, etc).

I found mine at an office depot of all places.

My car is not turning right. :/ Does anyone know why that would happen? This is my first rc car, so I'm sorta a noob. :{ Thanks in advance!

On an unrelated note, does anyone collect coins? I have a question regarding a certain 1,5 euro coin from de nimes in 1997.
