I think it may have something to do with Intelli or the Bukkit system he uses. I've been on multiplayer servers where I can kill the pigs, just not here on Minerealm...

I will try it with 1 spawner after the update. zombie-spawners are useless.

It's not intelli. Some pigs are killable, but some are invincible. I have confirmed this on non bukkit servers.
