About Yourself:
I am a frequent gamer. I love Minecraft and own a PS3, Xbox360 and several other random little things (like my parrot AR drone). I spend a lot of time on MineRealm and love helping out the community, I am active in the chat and have helped stop a few (or a lot of) arguments. I feel I have come a long way as a person and a player since I began playing MineRealm. I’ve made a lot of friends who I’m not even going to name, the list is too long. I started playing Minecraft about a two years ago and I know, quite literally, everything about the game.
Qualifications:
I have a lot of technical knowledge and am always the one that runs servers for my friends. I am a fast learner and I have taught myself a lot about networking. I used to run a server with a moderately active player base off my home computer. I have had to deal with griefers, fliers and quick destruction hackers and was sensible when I had to ban players. These days that server is only run for my friends and I to make YouTube videos.
Why you deserve this position:
I have been a member of the community since the first creative map, over a year ago. I have many friends in game and have brought at least 15 new players to the server. I feel I could help out at times where there is often no other moderators online and quickly put an end to some of the spammers and hackers we see at these times, maybe even faster than help-bot himself!
Unfortunately, i have been banned before, once long ago. I considered this a learned lesson and feel I became a better player from it. Since then I have been an active, helpful community member.
Availability:
During the day i am almost constantly on the forum and can be online and in game between 9.00PM and 3.00AM (PST) or more. (for those that want to know what that is in AEST its 4pm till 10pm or more).
I have my own Skype, and that is my preferred method of communication. I can also be emailed and PM’d via the forums, or most easily talked to in-game.
Anything else you wish to add:
I've been gaming since the PS2 came out, and I know that doesn’t seem like long to some of you, but its well over half my life. I love sandbox games, FPS, RPG and open world games. Being a combination of the three Minecraft is my ultimate game.
I know that I am a little beneath the age limit hard cap, but i often find myself behaving more maturely than much older players. I think that given the opportunity i could do an equal, if not better job at moderating the server.
Other than all of this I think that most players in the MineRealm community know me and that I think I have the capability to be a successful moderator. I am far more patient than I used to be and consider myself someone who is seen in a positive light on the server.
