Hello ladies and gentlemen of the MineRealm server,

As it says on the tin, I will be opening my spawn realm located at x-275, y -225 for a community build.
My idea is this, each month, four players will have the chance to create a build on this plot as a group.
The four builders will need to work together on this build, so if you are to apply to build on this
plot, please ask three other players that you can work with. (Apply the four players IGN's below)
When applying, please have some sort of an idea on what you are going to build.

Each month it will swap round, four new people to create a build.
This build will require the builders to supply everything they need, but I will be able to leave a beacon
there for use. All builds are to be taken down by the players who built on the plot at the conclusion of the month.

A Few Rules

*No Furnace Overloads (Pie)
*No Massive Cobble Structures
*No recreation of grief plot (As seen before wipe)
*Must work in group of four
*Come prepared
*Only one month the build can stay
*Have Fun!

When Can I Apply? I will announce when the first builders will can apply sometime next week.

perhaps if there's enough interest we could set aside an area of the world, say 5x5 realms for these creations to live a little longer? perhaps a little touristy, history of the realm kinda thing.... might be good for future ideas as well!

Well I was planning an idea like this for a long time now, which would of been announced once we had the public toggle enabled for the plots. But anyway if people want a larger area and want to help out, I can let chammy run a larger area near spawn, problem is it's jungle. The area would need to be dug down and flatten but I own a rather large area I was going to do it on.

I don't mind doing the same thing but I'm a bit far out for people so I don't think my area would be used as much. People could travel via the rails to get to my place though if they're OK with the distance. And there's also my nether portal which I was connecting to the main spawn path that I could finish if you want that to happen. My area is pretty inactive besides my building projects and the city (which died when I took my break from minerealm).

Hence why I offered the idea but, said that it's unlikely that my area will be used due to distance.

what I was suggesting, which i think may not have been picked up on, is that we have a realm v. near spawn where people create their builds, and once their month is up, we/they could then move their build to a more distant area for display for a longer period with the builds previous to it. does that make sense?

I agree and disagree with this. The only reason I disagree with it is that taking a part and rebuilding a structure can be very frustrating and a nuisance to people especially if you have to move the structure to a location farther away.
