Alright, so I've asked Spritzo and Intelli about warring, and Intelli said to post here, so...

Whats the general feeling on the effects of warring factions, I.E. destroying each others things, lava'ing each other, basically all out war depending on severity of it.

Thoughts?

Sounds like greifing to me. So i guess it would fall under the don't get caught rule, just like everything else. No proof = no punishment.

Open faction war would be silly if under the don't get caught rule.

But its not even war, its just mass lava-ing / destroying aka mass griefing, so mass breaking the rules .

If there were actual pvp then i could see warring being allowed, otherwise its just another way of saying griefing.

I just don't see it that way if it's confined between two factions, then it's personal between the two.

But in reality it's still just two people dumping lava on each other D:.

I guess if both people acknowledge that they're at war and that they are ready to pretty much grief each other then its not really griefing, so long as it's only their things that get damaged.

as long as the two factions would keep it between the two and not include others i'd be fine with it. as well it would prob be best to just have them both reside on an island away from spawn & keep that island as a war zone!

i'd love to goto war but it would have to be contained so that others can avoid getting in the middle by accident & become casualties of war
