I saw what happened and don't be worried about the ban -- you weren't really griefing. I checked the MineRealm forums and you don't seem to have a forum account yet, make sure you make one now because you'll need to post a ban appeal following (this: http://minerealm.com/community/viewtopic.php?f=20&t=678) format.
I got screenshots and will vouch for ya man, but you have to be the one to post your own ban appeal. I don't have any other way to contact ye since you were banned in-game but if you do read this make sure to just post up a ban appeal and explain your exact actions. You should be cleared soon enough bud. Don't do anything to avoid the ban like logging onto alt accounts or anything like that.
Don't worry about the house and base, I won't delete you from the permissions list. There's a lot of people getting banned for just breaking chests in public land that didn't belong to anyone's house/base/build/project, and yours is one of these cases.
Register and post your ban appeal according to the link above man.
