Currently there is no formal way for guild members to pool money together or donate to their guild. This idea would create a credits account for each guild. This would be very useful for fundraising, which most guilds will need in order to buy more expansions with the Guild 2.0 system. In Wizards of Goof, we have a constantly growing village. This would be very useful for us to build more homes and expand our headquarters because we are always in need of more supplies and realms. Anyone would be able to donate to the account, but only guild leaders would be able to access the money. It might go something like this: "/deposit <realm> <amount>," and then a guild leader would be able to spend the credits on realms with: "/withdrawal realm purchase." They could trade with other players using the guild account with: "/withdrawal credits give <user> <amount>." This would be very useful for managing guilds.

How would tax be handled? Tax any time the credits are moved (e.g. between a guild account and a member's account), or only when the credits are actually spent (e.g. moved from a guild account to a non-member's account or used to buy realms).

I would imagine that there would be no tax while depositing credits because your only switching the credits from one account to another. However, I'm not sure of the tax system details or its purpose, so that would be up to Intelli.

Just an idea.
I can already see the disputes if they go back to the server. Just wait for a rogue guild leader to disband his guild, sending all the donated credits back to the server and leaving tons of angry members wanting their credits back.

Split between members may work, but then the person who donated no credits and the person who donated 50,000 credits both get the same amount back if the guild disbands..

Despite several problems, I support this idea. Vortex in particular is in a position to appreciate the benefits this could bring, as OneManWo1fPac currently holds all of our credits. If he isn't unbanned, they'll disappear. However, had this existed at the time of his banning, we could have contributed money to the guild account rather than to poor OneMan. As for if the guild disbands, I suggest that the money go to the leader. The guild leader is usually the one holding all of its funds anyway, so people are already careful about giving money to shifty guilds. This wouldn't eliminate that problem, but it wouldn't make it worse, either. It isn't like people would have to use it. If they mistrusted it, they could choose to distribute their guild credits among members for safekeeping instead, or give it to the guild leader, or keep it themselves.
