Nope. This was a mean question because the melody is syncopated over two bars in 5/4. If you follow the drum line you can hear the 5/4 but the melody for some of it is seemingly independent of this.
Here is something I have played before (no this is not me). Other pianists will understand that this piece has too many notes.

It's not just about death. It's about a boy and a girl who hang out together. One day the girl runs after her cat onto the street and a truck hits her and she dies. The boy passes out, but before he does he sees a "heat haze" (The thing that looks like him) and it tells him that it wasn't a dream. When he wakes up it's the day before. So for the days following he keeps on trying to find a way where she doesn't die, but he can never prevent it and he always wakes up to the same day. (And whenever the girl dies the heat haze appears). The second day she dies he notices her smiling right before she died. He realizes this goes on for decades, though he'd always wake up on the same day. So he decided that the only way to end it was to let things go the way they go the first time, but this time he pushes her back and gets hit by the truck. Right before he dies he sees that she has a heat haze, and he realized that while for decades he was trying to save her life, she was trying to save his, so they're both stuck in the never ending loop. (Also, in the end she talks about how she failed again).
