And while they're off somewhere in the wilderness, stroking their egos and twiddling their thumbs, Celestis is busy building a mural in Spawn City for the people. What's Nova done? Built a shop that is becoming an eyesore and dug a hole that is nothing more than a deathtrap. The fact that the "Terra Nova Pit" is not fenced off to the public, or at least capped with a glass ceiling only emphasizes the fact that those at Nova only care for themselves and not the safety or wellbeing of others.
Right now, all of our resources are being put in storage to ensure that Terra Nova can be built to reflect the high standards we hold ourselves to. We are not in the wilderness; in fact, we are stationed at the Pit for the moment, until 1.8 drops. Once the city is built, Terra Nova will be providing the quality service that it is known for.

The Terra Nova Pit is for everyone's enjoyment, and we are not responsible for how people choose to enjoy the pit. If people wish to basejump into the pit sans parachute, who are we to stop them? We also assume the people of MineRealm are intelligent enough to know that the half slabs forming the road that leads around the pit are slippery, and are not safe to crouch on. We are not responsible for those who fall in the Pit, nor for the items they may lose.

Excuse me Mr. SilsuCrow. If I may kindly remind you that it is imperative to speak the facts rather than some unorganized, random biased opinion. You claim that "Nova is for the people, yet their store stands cold and empty." Were you not aware that Terra Nova has put a great deal of effort into preparing the store to be given to a fellow Minecrafter? At such a bargain-price may I add! I recall TehBomb420 interested about purchasing the store. Now, how is that not "for the people"?

I must say as a personal testimony that I have also been very fortunate to receive the benefits of being a customer to Terra Nova. I received a spawn realm plot for such a wonderful discounted price, I only am compelled to think that Terra Nova aims to serve the public. Not only this, but they also offered me an adjacent property for even ANOTHER discount price! It is quite honorable, and I think anyone would agree that Terra Nova has our best interests at heart.

Now, about this "Terra Nova Pit" as you call it. Do you sir even know the purpose of that pit? How can you even claim you understand why it exists if the designer has not explained it to you? If you examined the area more carefully, Terra Nova engineers have designed a stone walkway lit with glowstone. I believe the purpose of this is to carefully guide people around the pit to avoid hazard. Mr. SilsuCrow do you not believe you are asking for a little too much here? A glass ceiling? Hm..to me it seems that you obviously do not appreciate the work they have done in creating a safe environment already.

Again, I stress that you would please consider the facts before writing something like that again. I bid you good day sir.

And yet every time I've walked in there, nobody is manning the counter. While it may be as you say, the customer service is, to be blunt, strongly lacking.

Sounds like bribery to me, which thus puts your judgement into question.

Well you claim that Terra Nova is stockpiling resources. And it seems to me that you have more than adequate numbers to go out and get enough sand to created a glass dome for your pit. Shouldn't take more than an hour with about three people working on it. I mean, you're simply sitting and waiting for 1.8 like everyone else, correct?

Consider it this way. Building a glass ceiling will allow patrons to better appreciate the work that went into building the pit without threat of them falling in and losing their hard earned items. You get the publicity and acknowledgment without the threat of losing patrons due to....slippery surfaces.

Allow me to clarify a few things for you. I'm doing this as a courtesy in order to prevent you from being consumed with ideas that are false and unjustified.

In response to the services offered by the Terra Nova store, you have not considered all factors. Aside from solely selling materials, you may be glad to hear that I for one have appreciated how they have clearly labeled prices for a majority of the blocks that are commonly traded between players. This has allowed me as a fellow Minecrafter to adjust my prices to be reasonable for the public. Effectively, Terra Nova has given us a standard that allows us to keep good relations with other players while trading as both parties feel the decided price will be reasonable.

As for the accusation of bribery, I would have you know that I have no affiliation with Terra Nova at this point. In fact, I am stressing that you do not elevate me to the honor of being associated with them. In the most humble form, I am a satisfied customer. In truth, Rocky_Blast had offered me the purchased realm at the same price that he offered the public. Everyone had a fair chance, and it was at a discount price from the beginning. I take offense that you would accuse me of having a conflict of interest with Terra Nova since I was treated equally as everyone else.

As for your final statement, there are players who do in fact wish to utilize the pit freely by falling into it. I have seen many times in chat players stating something similar to the following: "I'm going to go jump in the pit", "Hey everyone, I made it to the bottom of the pit!". This shows that players do in fact enjoy jumping into the pit and a glass ceiling would prevent that enjoyment. Do you honestly want to prevent this form of entertainment from the public?

Seems to me that the prices posted by Terra Nova are now obsolete. A good example: Slime Balls. The Terra Nova store has Slime Balls posted for 750rc a piece, yet now they are going for as little as 80rc. Plants are 100rc yet most people seem to be practically giving away seeds, wheat, cactus, reeds and saplings.

So if the "standard" that has been presented by Terra Nova is no longer the "standard", then what good is the store?

I trust you have reliable sources to back up this claim?

Not totally prevent it, simply allow people to differentiate between "looking" and "freefalling". There are methods that allow for both that Terra Nova has not implemented due to either lack of imagination, disinterest or laziness. For example, a glass top with the center fenced off and open and an open spot on the North, South, East and West with a sufficiently wide ledge for those inclined to jump.
