The ship was not even nearly complete. there was still propellers, all the cabins, the bridge and other building on the deck. There was even going to be an on board pool, spleef arena and park!

Don't be silly. The airship will never be completed. It is going to get greifed every single time. Especially if you put real stuff in like iron instead of just millions of wood planks. Honestly, it could look nice, but the only form i have ever seen it is is huge wood mass. And i doubt it will ever get far beyond that point.

Do you know how easy it is to change your IP? I could make myself look I was playing from Arkansas. If you IP ban them, they can easily change IP's and come back on.

Banning someone with technical knowledge is almost impossible. You have to settle for making it more annoying to be on the server than it is worth to them.

Ok! I think that if avo ever strikes again, follow these simple steps:

1) Assess the damage without screaming every ten seconds "OH GOD! WE HAVE BEEN GRIEFED!!" There is a good chance some of the avo people are still on just to get a good laugh, your just feeding them.

2) Calmly repair the damage. We don't need people whining all day in the chat about the damage. If you built/worked on that project then help fix it. If you didn't and you want to help out fine, if not, oh well, you didn't work on it to begin with.

3) Don't post a ton of threads about how we got griefed. By now, people will know! Don't clutter up the fourm if we don't need to. (Again, this also feeds avo people if any lurk around the site)

4) Move on. It is a game. I know, lots of hard work went into building your creation and you are proud. But in life, things come and go.

So, to be consice I am not saying just forget it all. Just don't feed them. It seems we all (yes, all of us) have a slight tendency to overreact. The ship was a great project that just showed how awesome Minerealm is, and even though avo knocked us down, we can get right back up.
