What exactly does this entail? Because I distinctly remember you saying that there would never again be a full map wipe.

Lol deel you commented before I did. Anyways he means, full ban list wipe (with the exception of Ceteri apperently) and some new features, commands, ect, I don't know for celestia's sake.

Pretty sure Intelli intends to open up a new server for MR v5, and keep the current one as is. Like he's stated in the past. Correct me if somethings changed though.

That's the answer I got when we were discussing it in-game a few months back.

A fresh start would be nice along with new mechanics , plot systems etc Whilst still playing with people we know. Keeping the existing museumrealm map going should be a no-brainer though, so much hard virtual work has been put into it over the years.

Please tell me you decided against running a 1.7 beta server though intelli

Okay, so basically what we'd expected.

I'm just sad to be losing everything that we spent so much time on. I know, we're almost certainly keeping the map in some form, but it won't be relevant anymore.

It's still relevant as long as you still play. I'm planning on staying on both servers, and I would assume others are too. It's not like it's going to immediately fall out of use completely.
