Don't see this as a serious suggestion thread, more of a thought experiment.
No need for increased blood pressure. I'm just trying to make people think outside the box and reconsider what they believe is 'normal'.

Anyway, first of all, if you think variable realm prices will destroy the realm trade between players, fair enough, it's totally possible. I think you may be exaggerating slighty though.

Second, I never suggested to put a fee on /home, it was meant for /spawn, you may have misread that. However, I do like the idea for putting a fee on /kill. Sadly it won't really work because people can just kill themselves with fire/water/falling/mobs if they want to.

Finally, I really like MineRealm not being vanilla and I understand certain things aren't and shouldn't be like vanilla. However, I feel certain aspects of the server could be improved by moving towards a vanilla-like style. Ofcourse in other cases it may be better to move away from vanilla. Vanilla or chocolate is not what I'm trying to argue for or against.


PS. Please don't explode, you seem a little on edge. :P

Not worked up, just enjoying the thought experiment. You have to understand, I lose my mind over the idea of a good debate, and it's been far too long since I could throw myself into an idea and go over everything for the sake of argument.

Eh, never said it'd destroy it. Just that it'd create havoc, especially were it introduced, say, tomorrow morning. It'd also screw a lot of people over who own large amounts of realms.

Besides, scaling cost means you have to scale re-sale to the server. How would re-sale work if the sell cost is nerfed to 5k? Keep it across the board, or make it a precentage? I'd lean towards percentage.

I misunderstood this section, and I still want a fee attached to /kill. I just don't want it to be noticeable. 10 credits would work just fine, and they shouldn't be told about it at any point. Find out via credit checks/something else.
