There are so many immature people here, who just don't handle things like adults. But that's what you have to expect on a server full of kids and adolescents.

A mature adult would honor an agreement and pay for an auction they won.

Hvrock, civil and private was the way this started. The issuse was discussed just between the two of us in private chat. I asked what he wanted to do to resolve it, and I was met with accusations. My forum topic was not to call him out, but to see what I should do next... from other minerealm players who had posted auctions themselves. I am sorry that other players took exception to his actions, but I believe he also did himself an injustice by getting attitudinal with those who commented on the post.

Since there has been a resolution to the situation and since I have gotten the advice I was seeking from fellow players, I would like to request that this thread be locked. Additionally, Hydrobud doesn't need anyone else piling on top of him.

I know you asked for this to be locked Falconis, and i agree with you, however i would just like to make my .02 known, and try to clear up a few things that appear still outstanding.

Please read all of this carefully

First of all, I think Falconis' auction followed the rules/guidelines, and was, at the very least, clearly explained. He ran it like one of those ebay auctions that have multiple lots available, so most of Hydrobud's misunderstanding is his own fault for not reading the entire post.

Second, anyone who has won an auction can be banned if they revoke their bid after the auction has ended

However you can revoke your bid while the auction is still running if you wish to, without fear of a ban, as i understand it.

Falconis, you could, admittedly, have been a bit clearer about the number of lots in the auction by adding in:
[ size=150]There are 2 lots in this auction, the top two bidders will each win one lot[ /size]
However that would only have been courtesy as anyone who read the post could have worked it out

I hope you all respect my opinion, and take note. Hopefully we will see a reduction in the number of people backing out of auctions after they have ended.
Falconis, i suggest running a second auction for your second set
