I'd love to see the old death notices again. They always brought a smile forth, and if some left the game right after they died, I couldn't help but thinking they ragequit xD
I'm for the suggetion of doing a /DN command to see those notices, without the risk of forgetting to turn pvp off again when you travel places. I realize the chances of getting randomly killed is a slim chance, but people are still being paranoid as soon as they turn pvp on =)

A toggle command that doesn't involve PvP would be great, it used to have a good laugh looking at some of the death notices, somebody's forum sig has/had a brilliant example of how funny they could be...

It sometimes got annoying, but I must admit I sometimes enjoyed the combination of chat and death notices
