Intelli, i really dont agree with it having to be 100x100 before only members can build in the realm. The server will become a greifer heaven if it goes through.

I agree. Like chest protection, that should be a given for any realm, no matter the size. Probably should have included that in one of my other posts.

I like the idea of having to have a certain amount of people to make a realm because if you have 3 people who want to make a realm they most likely want to see it through instead of just making it for the heck of it. However I do not like the idea of having to pay to make one, it might deter people from staying because they can't find diamonds or they keep getting robbed and it might take a while for them to get enough and they might be bored by the constant robbing that they just leave the server.

you do realize that if they keep it in their inventory it will be safe as long as they turn personal pvp off.

But I think either it should be 100x100 before it becomes private, or at least 50x50. I'm not completely sure though.

And maybe instead of a 10 diamond minimum, maybe a 5 diamond. Anyone can get 5 diamond. It's so easy. That will still make a limit, while not making it too hard for new players to get it. Also, if there are new players, they would be encouraged by this system to find a realm and join it, making minerealm more of a close community.

I still don't agree with having to pay for realms. This will make a ton of people leave. Some people love the server and want to go and start a settlement with nothing. Either keep realms free or don't have them at all.

Cats, they don't have to have realms. They can make non-realm communities as well. I think that's what one of my communities is going to be. People aren't bound to have a realm, it just helps. The reason he wants it like this is so that realms won't be spammed on the very first day. If you haven't noticed about 1/2 or more of the realms are under 100x100, with many just being 2-man realms. There are WAY too many realms, and it's near impossible to find a good place to make a realm without 2 others right near to it. But I guess it's whatever Intelli wants.

Freaking entitled casuals.
A single person with no money doesn't deserve to have a realm. Most likely it will be an ugly wooden house that just takes up space.
If you only play 5 minutes a week, you don't deserve to have the same benefits (Realm protection, rail protection, etc) as the people that play every day. If you don't build much, you don't deserve to have the protection to your single storied cobblestone square house. If you can't lock your chests by placing a block on top, you don't deserve to have the items in them.

Is there going to be Realm Wars still?

If so, I was thinking about something. It is partially someone else's idea.

If Intelli could make a Realm Wars plugin, we could declare war on another realm ingame by typing something like...Well, I'm not sure.

If the realm is over 100x100, the realm will by sent a message about the war declaration. You can accept (/accept) or decline (/decline). If you type /decline, a portion of your IP (which will also have to be programmed into the server) will be taken away. If you type /accept, none will be taken or added until you win or lose and you can't turn off PvP.

Intelli could make IP a non-placeable item which can be put in a chest. As you gain victories over other realms your IP will go up, even if it is in a chest.

You can buy items with IP and sell items for IP. There would most likely be a building Spawn, or in a seperate realm called The Battleground or something like that. You would right click a chest in the vault and it would open up a window, similar to chest windows except you would have only your IP and each item in the upper window would have a price on it. You could only take items if you have IP and you will be automatically charged if you take any.

Also, there would be alliance chat. Yes, I did not think of this but if Realm Wars is implemented, this would have to be in it. You would get alliances by typing /alliance Realm Name and you will give some IP to the other realm. You basically buy an alliance. Once you buy an alliance, you can type /a Message to talk with your alliance members in private.

This might sound a slight bit complicated but overall, I think this would be a good idea.

Btw, I'm not even sure you can make a plugin that includes new items. Lol.
