Necro'd this suggestion for obvious reasons.

The current idiot who is spamming the forums and necro'ing posts from the dawn of time would be stopped from being as annoying as he is if this idea were implemented.
Cutting unregistered users to 2-3 posts per day would stop this crap from being so disruptive.

It's a good idea, although what about the people who can't submit there IGN? It seems like they have been having troubles with that lately.

It is easier to tell who you are in game if your name is different on the forums.
Also, most people won't accept auction bids unless your IGN is verified.
