i agree! i want o opt out. nothing about this appeals to me and i don't want to be forced to be a part of NTC or whoever wants to plow through, and pay them taxes. :(

When you talk about setting the tax rate, what is it that is being taxed? Every .5 credits per block broken or place within the realm? Why would an owner of a country set anything less than 25%? Just some curious questions.

Transactions of credits are what is taxed. And they have to pay the 25% tax as well, so if they want to use the credits for something other than buying units for their country, they are losing money as well.

I believe that the taxes you pay are based off of where your home is. They won't get the money from trade at /spawn unless your home is there. People can also annex that realm into their own countries if they so choose.
