Yes, you are correct that minecraft and minerealm are worldwide, which is why I specified American prime time tv. In my opinion American prime time tv censorship is more "prudish" if you will than in some other Western culture countries. Also, many American tv shows are seen by people in other countries.
As far as the swear filter on the server, I understand the need for censorship in this venue due to the anonymity the internet brings which promotes a sense of it's ok to behave/communicate in a way that would not be acceptable in face to face encounters. Unfortunately, no swear filter prevents derogatory remarks. Any words can be used in a derogatory way, and pop culture is defining new derogatory terms all the time, which are not "swear" words per se.
Having said all that, I have no expectation, reasonable or otherwise, that Intelli will make any changes to the filter based on my opinion or any of the opinions in this thread. Just clarifying my opinion as stated above.
