You guys, everyone is mentioning 14. What about 13 and down (there are people younger than 10 on this server)? They are gonna be mad, and will freak.

So, if I understand your suggestion, it is for the admins to basically forgive anyone for their first ban? It that it? Because I sure can't make anything else out of it. Perhaps next time you should skip the needlessly obscure bit and just come right out and say what you want.

No one wants to play a game with a bunch of raging 14 year olds (or so). If they get banned and act a fool, then too bad for them and good for us cuz they are gone. If they get banned, they wise up and start acting more mature, then good for them and good for us cuz we might get a better player for it.

Either way the current system works good for us. Sorry

Clearly you misunderstood. But, that's fine.
What i was trying to say was that maybe the admins sometimes mistake
mature players who have made mistakes for adolescents who swear and rage
on a consecutive basis.

As for the rest, that clearly deserved to be banned yet still posted
an appeal that didn't meet the ban appeal requirements...
Well, I'd like to think the admin knows what to do with those.

year old kids to instantly grow up.
The majority of the Minecraft community is either between the ages of
10 and 14 or close to that. Some a bit older, and some a bit younger,
but most fall right around that age range.

And? Where is the suggestion? I see a complaint, but nothing else. I see no suggestion here, no fix, no solution. Just a complaint that the admins don't have ESP and precognition in regards to a player's actions. You act like a moron, you get banned. Being a teenage brat or a mature gamer is 100% irrelevant. All that matter is if the player broke a rule or not.

Also, when you say some people might act like a brat but actually be real people...
If it walks like a duck, quacks like a duck and looks like a duck, its probably a duck. If you act like a brat and appear to be a brat, then its a safe bet that you actually are a brat.

Not all of us "freak out" at stuff like this, though I dont like the comment about "racist slur, swear
shooting, rage infesting tweens." Please remind your selves not ALL of us are like that.

My thoughts exactly, Keyhen. :)

their mistake and fess up.

This brings up some interesting issues:

The server is supposed to be "all ages", and yet kids are expected to act like adults.

If so, why have the help bot? If expected to act like adults, then the occasional language language shouldn't be a problem, as the previous statement renders it null and void..

This issue should be more clearly defined. I suspect the staff wants the criminals to act maturely for an unban, but if they are children, my previous point may still stand...

I stated what the suggestion was when Flanny asked the same question you did.

That's the suggestion.
Not a large one, but a suggestion none the less.
That's why I thought it belonged in the suggestions/ideas
section.

That "saying" probably sums up what I wouldn't want the admin to assume
after seeing someone, or maybe the help bot seeing someone, swear.
Or who knows. Maybe not even a swear word, but simply a word that
isn't allowed by the help bot. A good example of this is when Meepers20
got banned for saying chestfulls. While I'm glad he's unbanned,
he shouldn't have been banned in the first place.

Not to mention, Meepers was banned for that, but since then (even the same day), I've seen "chestfulls," show up at least 40 times... And no one is punished for it, so I don't know why Meepers was initially even if he did say it more then once after being warned, he didn't deserve a single warning for it xD
