Though I must agree on the multiple spawn point thing, IMHO it would be better to give players the ability to set a limited number (~3?) of personal homes.

Or maybe have a central spawn point, and some fixed 'stations', and when you die give the option to return either to spawn or the nearest station?

why random spawns? how bout you just set /spawn1 /spawn2 ...
and you place them like 3-5k blocks away from eachother ?

1# there would be no worries about griefing if you store your items and buildings in realms.

2# if griefing does occur outside a private realm you could just get a mod/admin to roll it back.

Dacadac I believe the Mods/Admins may be getting sick of being whined to all the time but I have no actual proof of this so who knows.

Multiple spawns will destroy what little of an economy there is and make travel even more difficult and sadistic than it already is.

What if you buy a realm, but postpone the building of it until 1.8? I want to buy a realm in the water, will it be land?

I would like to know this as well.
I'm in a snow biome when the map gets wiped will it still be the same biome?

Yes I have a desert biome realm that I think I would like to keep a dessert. As long as its in your realm it should stay the same right. Except maybe on the blocks are the same but it rains instead of snows...

I don't think biomes will stay the same, since they will change drastically in 1.8.
