Thats a Macbook Air 13" on the side, mouse is a Razer Naga Epic and the keyboard is a Razer Lycosa, which I'm hoping to upgrade to a Corsair Vengeance K95. Headset is a Sony DR-GA500 which is nice, but certainly not fantastic for the price. Hoping to buy a pair of Astro A40's shortly after christmas.

Well, it's black with a red base, and yes it's a laptop. Also has one screen, has 60 buttons, a track pad that is also one of the buttons, 3 very tacky and standard stickers, and the power button glows when it's on.

As for the *specks, I keep it very clean so I don't have any. Oh, and the HDD locks on sudden impact so I can wield it as a club if things get dicey.

Once my warranty is up on my laptop, i plan to upgrade the laptop with a 1 TB ssd so that i can really put more stuff on this thing.

So, I bought a new laptop (mainly for my son/wife). The "computer room" / office / guest room is in the basement which gets pretty cold in the winter. I had my computer set up on the kitchen table for serveral months and it was just not working, time to move downstairs. I did not want make my son play MC in the basement nor my wife FB there either. On a tight budget (~$400) I bought the following, it runs MC relatively well (30-50 fps with no lag spikes in SMP):

HP Pavilion TouchSmart 15
Window 8 (with touch screen in LCD)
AMD A8-5545M APU with Radeon HD Graphics (it has an integrated GPU I think), the 5545 runs at 1.7GHz
4 GB of RAM (to be upgraded to 16 GB as soon as there is enough money in the "computers budget")

The computer was $30 more (at BestBuy) than another HP model which had a 2.3GHz processor (the A8-5550), a 17.6" screen (mine is a 15.6"), 750 GB HDD (mine is 500GB). However, that computer did not have a touchscreen (that is really a big thing in windows 8), 250 GB is really not that much for a laptop HDD (my main rig has 1TB and I can add 10+ more no problem), the bigger screen is easier to break (a significant consideration with children using it) and I probably did not loose too many FPS with the 500MHz difference in CPU speed (they are both quad-core processors) but you can correct me if I am wrong.
