No, this says the 15 block radius does not apply to traps. It goes on to say that traps have a required distance of 50 blocks, which is why they do not fall under the normal 15 block radius.

Yes that is what I mean. After a paragraph ends with that, you wouldn't think a new paragraph would start with a continuation from that one. It is just not worded in a very clear way. I think that after he read that sentence, he figured that was the end of that.

Either way he should read all the rules prior to doing that, and or ask staff. There's no reason anyone should put a trap at the spawn portal especially with tnt, we have enough issues keeping it connected already.
