This would be completely impractical for guilds, assuming it would apply to private realms. Even if it was only for public realms, it would cause problems because new guys working together wouldn't be able to open shared chests. It would also open the door to all sorts of grief because people could spam others' areas with these unbreakable chests.

I've got an idea. Make a chest to put all your items in, then surround that chest with empty chests. People have to break the empty chests to get to the actual useful chest, thus get banned.

I'm pretty sure they already found a way around the 'breaking a chest=autoban' thing.

Lockette has been suggested and shot down repeatedly. Intelli has shot it down, Staff have shot it down, players have shot it down.

Good idea but to be honest. Build your house underground until you get 10k.Have no way from the surface to get to it..You can build good houses underground too. And remember, keep your best stuff in the enderchest or log out with it. Both make a double chest of protected stuff!
Oh yea, and you could make a good obsidian house if a looter runs in to it while mining.

That was literally my idea. I came up with it first.
