There's a realm list on the forums because people can actually go about counting how many realms someone has. It's not private information.

But how many credits you have it completely private. It's a tactical advantage to not reveal how many credits you have. It could affect trades and or how much is willing to sell things to you. If a "rich" player needed to buy something, and you knew they had a lot of credits in the bank, you would set a higher price.

Like my slave owner said, it's not about modesty. If someone were flaunting their enormous amount of credits, they'd get tons of loan requests. If, at a busy time of the day, you said in public chat "I have 500k.", no doubt there'd be a good chance someone would sincerely ask for some of it.

If this were implemented, it'd be more advantageous to have less credits because you're less of a target.

Or, as it's been suggested in the past, there could be a way to hide your credit status and have it hidden by default.

I voted no on the wealth rank because realms are not always worth 10k or 9k each. Besides, we have the realm rankings for that.

Yeah, didn't really look at it that way. In that case, I don't really want this implemented.
