Well, i kinda need a little help here. I've been messing around with a bunch of my schools firewall settings, i wont say how... and for now, everything is unblocked. Everything works, including minecraft.net.

However, i still cant connect to any servers.

I think i recall Minerealm had a proxy server, but i cant remember it... i don't think it would work anyway. Does anyone have any ideas?

In the command prompt, i can ping both Minerealm servers and minecraft.net and get a 100% response.

What i did is probably not relevant to your firewall, my school uses a quite advances stateful packet inspection filter. I managed to take it down by modifying a few peoples privelages.... It wont last more than a day or two.

For any ordinary filter you should try using a proxy. Proxy.org has a ton.

Other methods are more complicated such as setting up a VPN or an SSL VPN.

I cant access the router, so i cant manipulate any of the port rules. I'm thinking 25565 must be blocked, the reason i cant log into mine realm but can access any website i wish. Does anyone know a way i can bypass this?

The only thing around that problem is hacking the adminaccount but than again, they will notice and stuff will be undone :/

Setting up a vpn via your home computer would be the only option.

enable frame burst? i did this at work and now I can get on minerealm.....at least thats what i think did it.
