Okay, to start, if a block above a chest is destroyed during lag, THE CHEST IS STILL NOT ACCESSIBLE.
Clear enough? The server won't send you the data on what is in the chest till the lag stops, by which point the lag will have caught up enough for the block to re-appear. Placing a block on top of a chest is 100% sure to keep your chest secure.
On the other hand, because your RS system would be relying on a mod to minecraft instead of the internal MC code, it would be vulnerable to lag trickery. So the only thing your system does is add lag vulnerabilities.
Also, non block items can be damaged in private realms under certain conditions in a way that allows you to make permanent changes to private realms you are not a part of. So far i have only seen torches removed, but i imagine it is possible to lay RS. So now you have added 2 vulnerabilities and removed none. What exactly was the point of this proposed modification?
