The mob limiter is not the problem. The spawn rate of the iron golems has been nerfed so drastically that a farm is no longer possible.

If this is true, why the 5-page long argument?
Because a lot of people fail to see the obvious. This would definitely be a legitimate concern on another server, so I see why people brought it up. However, I'm still really surprised nobody thought that the mobs would despawn before trigger. With the new mob despawning rules I suppose it could be possible, but I don't think it is. Although I don't know all the coding that well, so I could be wrong.
