Firstly and most importantly the rules.

Secondly we opperate on a credit scheme here in minerealm.
Credits are the currency of minerealm, they can be obtained by placing and/or destroying blocks. So get your shovel and start digging.
You get 0.5 credits per block destroyed or placed, you're probably now thinking that 0.5 credits doesn't sound like much. You need 10,000 credits to buy a "realm". A realm is an area of land 50x50 from sky to bedrock you can call your own. Other players on minerealm cant destroy blocks in your realm neither can they steal stuff from your chests.
Trust me it wont take you long to get your first 10,000 credits.
Before you purchase your first realm, theres a few things you need to coincider:
1st: Location - Is there alot of resources readily available in your surroundings.
2nd: What's under your realm? - You don't want to buy a realm that has already been thouroughly mined, there wont be much diamond/iron left for you to mine.
3rd: What's near by? - Are there alot of realms nearby which could in the future restrict where you buy more realms.
4th: Who's near by? - Find out who owns realms near where you plan to buy, alot of people on minerealm are very friendly and may help you in the future if you need it, so try to buy near them, but not too near that you restrict them from expanding their realms.
Next we shall discuss transport.
You cannot teleport around the map, although there are /spawn /trade and /home available.
I advise you /sethome in your realm, even before you have bought it just incase you die, then you can type /home to quickly get back there.
/spawn takes you to the place you originally spawned at.
/trade takes you to the main trading area of minerealm, there are 2 community chests and a few trading rooms for players to trade.
Aswell as these 3 commands, there is a subway system running underneath of minerealm, which is a fairly speedy way of travelling compared to walking everywhere, it is also alot safer than travelling throught the nether.
This brings me on to my next topic of the nether.
There are very few rules down in the nether, it is a full PVP area, so be careful.
Griefing is not allowed in the nether.
Logging in and out in the nether if you are in battle to gain an advantage is not allowed.
Watch out for the NTC members, they like to kill anything that moves.
There is also the nether rail and nether road. These are usually well sign posted, although sometimes griefers destroy the signs.
Next, PVP.
PVP is allowed in the overworld, you can toggle it on or off using the command /pvp, pvp is non toggleable in the nether, it is permanently on.
If someone does not have pvp on you cannot use potions, fire or lava to kill people.
Your first realm
Once you have your first realm, you can build pretty much whatever your heart desires. Please be aware that rude/racist statues, words or slogans can get you banned.
Also you can now store your prized possessions safe in your chests within your realm.
You can set a name for your realm by using the command /realm name <name>.
If you have any firends on minerealm you can allow them to have build rights within your realm by using the command /realm user <name> without the <>. You can also remove them by using the same command. Anyone with build rights can place/destroy blocks and access your chests. So be aware of who you add to your realms as your once safe possessions may no longer be safe, if you add the wrong people.
Also if someone is in your realm and you don't want them to be, you are allowed to lava them or set them on fire, BUT YOU MUST GIVE THEM ENOUGH OF A WARNING TO LEAVE.
Trading
You can trade almost anything you want with players, from items to livestock (cows etc) to services.
There is a trading section on the forums, for you to auction, sell or buy items/services.

Most items you can buy or sell have a genereal price range, which is the price that almost everyone in mineralm buys and sells at, they are not official prices, so don't be affraid to try haggle a bit when buying or selling.
Also there is a 10% tax on all credit transactions in minerealm, so if you sell something for 2,000 credits you will only recieve 1,800 credits, so bare that in mind when you sell your items.
Bans
If you have broken the rules you can be banned from playing at minerealm, if you do break a rule and do get banned, you can always appeal you ban in the bans section.

Make sure you read the guidelines before posting any ban appeals, as admins frown upon people who have not followed the guidelines, this may postpone your unban if you are lucky enough to get unbanned.
If you get banned and make an appeal, there is no guarantee that you will get unbanned. That decision is made by the admins.
If you would like to post a ban request you use the same forum section as above, if you do post a ban request you need to have sufficient evidence that the player is guilty of what you are trying to have them banned for, pictures or videos should be enough.
If you discover an area that has been griefed, either within your own realms or on the nether road/rail or in the subway, report it to an admin or mod. If none are available at the time take note of the coordinates by using /compass or by pressing F3, then post them on the forums, with details of what you found.
In minerealm we have helpbot which is now called server in the chat, helpbot will ban you for swearing, x-raying, flying, spamming and any other broken rules that it can pick up on. There is also a very efficient admin/mod team, so if you do decide to break a rule i almost guarantee you will be punished. So don't break the rules.
