It's one sapling for a 1x1 tree, but if you wanted, 2x2 of saplings, will grow into a tree with 2x2 wood.

I don't know if this has been suggested before, but I think it is fair to either extend the map or give out saplings at spawn.

A potential idea is that the staff go on the IP on creative and fly around until they find the jungle biomes. They can then go to the same coordinates on Minerealm and if there are no man made structures there, wipe the chunks so that there are natural jungles. Of course this would take some personal time of the staff but it would be the most legit way of doing it.

But, expanded.... Perhaps the admins could petition a small group of core players that have proven their loyalty to the server, or are just plain reliable, to view the seed and help sniff out the jungle biomes. This seems to me to be the most realistic and aesthetically "legit" way to bring the biomes, and their benefits beyond trees, to the server.

That, and ocelots only spawn in jungles.

The problem with this is that the chunks of jungle biomes wouldn't necessarily match the Y coordinates of the map around them. IE, We might have giant ugly squares of ground as our jungle biomes.

unless there was a stipulation of any who buy jungle realms have to terraform the surrounding realms to meet up with the jungle realm

In a minor argument to that, we currently have quite a few realms that don't match up, and a bit of that is from people just terraforming it down
