I agree with something that has been suggested. A realm map, with its origin being the center of the realm it was crafted in. The map could display the borders of surrounding realms, up to 3 in every direction, with the realm name, owner, and motd(?).

It could also be expanded on showing a green realm being public, blue being owned by the playing using the map, yellow being private realms that the map user has privileges in, and red being private realms that the map user does not have privileges in.

This is something I would like. It would be a fast and quick way to check the status of surrounding realms that are near you.

My only concern is that we don't turn maps into something that needs manual updating. Just look at the website's frontpage/news for my reasoning. I'm sure everyone remembers how long this was the "news":
