If I'm reading that correctly, you're saying that the rules need to be changed because the current system is inconvenient for you.

I am not trying to say it needs to be changed just that it needs to be inforced without underhanding tactics of other peoples.

What I think should happen, in a case where there are multiple members of the realm, the ownership should be moved to the 2nd person added to the realm. Or maybe we could have multiple owners (up to 2, mayyyybe 3) This way realms are kept with the active members, rather than the inactive owner.

We, at Nox, have just been the victim of what I would term as a “Realm Theft”

Let me explain:

Mitch1423 is one of the main members of Nox, and owned like 5 realms including one just next to Nox City Center.

I write “owned” since for unknown reasons he has been MIA since January 13th, and since he didn’t log in even once since that time, all of his Nox realms disbanded like 6 hours ago or so.

Immediately after the disband, a complete stranger to Nox, namely Mystro211 (known as Tommy101 on the forums) rushed in when pretty much everybody else was asleep and bought this “near City Center” realm in the middle of Nox, and then shortly thereafter logged out, so when I woke up and logged on, less than 2 hours after the disband, Mystro211 was offline.

The realm in question had the 3 CORE members and leaders of NOX namely iHoolian, Jolt998 and myself as members with all rights, and we have frequented the realm on a daily basis in all the time Mitch1423 has been gone. Its an integral part of Nox.

We have been waiting anxiously for either the return of Mitch1423 or the date when the realm would disband and I was going to buy it today for Nox ASAP after it going public again, because I was extremely worried that someone would try and grap it, as is now sadly the case…

So, obviously I was 2 hours short, and now this Mystro211 has incepted himself into the heart of Nox and he himself is unavailable.

For obvious reasons this is an intolerable situation for Nox. What Mystro211 did is in Nox’s opinion extremely rude and an intrusion that is clearly harassment.

I have already informed the Staff and are awaiting their response.

I will continue to try and contact Mystro211 and ask him – politely – to sell the realm back to Nox.

Interesting is also that his name is mentioned earlier in this thread. Similar situation?

If this is Mystro211's "play" is that conduct really acceptable??

However I appeal to the Staff, that there can be some kind of rule preventing this kind of “Realm Theft” in the future.

P.S. I took following steps to prevent the theft from happening:

- I put up a sign in the realm claiming ownership of the realm prior to the disband.
- I contacted a Mod before the disband who suggested it would NOT BE LEGAL for a stranger to just bark in immediately after the disband and buy the realm. The Mod proposed that in principle it would be an illegal action because the realm is CLEARLY inside the sovereign territory of Nox. I absolutely agree with this .

It's not harassment--when a realm goes public, it's... well... public. In other words, disbanded realms are available for anybody to buy. That said, I do agree that it would be nice to have a "multiple owners" system to make it easier for factions to maintain control of their realms.

lol, well if that’s the final outcome i.e. verdict of this little debacle, then the system is broken, and I will leave this server promptly never to return.

Nox has put over 5 months of effort creating a city and its community.

If someone wants to deliberately hurt us they should challenge us to go to the nether.

I'm with Prodigy9 on this one. I have plenty of thoughts on the subject, but I'll leave it at that. I also wholeheartedly agree with Spritzo's "multiple owner" system.
