Kindly exercise your discretion now, and set a FIRM date ahead of time. Also, Canna has a point. A low start garners interest, and once players are involved, they'll typically raise the price for you. Although, if your expectations are unreasonable, it won't reach them.

As did I. Literally, I started laughing uncontrollably when I read that.

But seriously, zell, 15K is too high for a starting point in this auction. Maybe if there were many people interested (see Aelcalan's post for advice on how to get them interested) there would eventually be a bid that high, but refusing to even consider lower offers is kinda silly.

The two enchantments don't even go together that well. Efficiency breaks blocks quickly, but in order to make good use of the fortune enchantment, you ought to only use it on the blocks affected by fortune (which are rare enough that the faster speed from efficiency doesn't save you a whole lot of time on an individual mining expedition). A fortune pick would be much better with unbreaking than with efficiency.

TL;DR:

Fortune III = Efficiency V Fortune III (Value wise)

Some people say "Well it breaks Coal faster, so it's easier to excavate entire Coal Veins in a shorter amount of time," well, stop wasting your Fort III's on Coal! :3

Anyways, I'm retracting my bid (due to unnecessary rudeness and hostility from zellbud), so:

Current Highest Bid: 0000.00 Credits.

Well, there is that rule saying that you can't retract a bid without explicit permission from the person running the auction. But on the other hand, they guy running the auction seemed to reject your bid in the first place... so I'm not sure what to make of the situation.

@Prodigy: I am fully alloted to exercise my right to not following through, if by all means necessary I decide to before the auction is declared finished. If it were the final bid in the auction; and weren't retracted before the OP said the auction ended, then that unofficial rule would likely be in place, however if someone decides they changed there mind before the auction ended they are free to decline there offer whenever.

Example:

Random Bidder: 2.5k

Auction Owner: Auction closed, sold to Random Bidder.

Random Bidder: nvm kthxbai

(In this case, there would be a conflict with the rules, because other people missed out on a chance to bid due to someone else placing a false bid).
Just to clear that up. :P
