I was in the same age range as most of you when they took down Napster. Look how well that turned out. Sucked for Napster but was a huge force of change that helped give birth to a legitimate industry. And was the cause of more innovation for continuing to share files freely.
I can afford to buy/stream for $ my digital entertainment files. I'm all parental and middle class now. And I still say SOPA NOPA.
Times change. The entertainment industry has and will continue to change. Trying to stop file sharing is like trying to bail out a sinking boat with a Dixie cup. They would be better off MacGyvering a raft so they can float, then find a way to manufacture the raft and tax the sales of it. Ya, I'm feeling metaphorical today
