I am against this whole "kills bronies!" thing. Basically, it's a bunch of aggressive twelve year old's trying to start an unnecessary fight on the internet. I don't watch my little pony, but I'm not gonna jump the gun and call it stupid like I did with Minecraft two years ago.

I think it's more of a "my masculinity is threatened so I'm going to lash out" kinda thing. They see MLP:FiM and the first thing they see is a show initially targeted at little girls that guys are watching. Mental peer pressure kicks in ("Oh no, what if I watch this and my friends found out?") so they lash out without being informed and just going off of initial appearances.

It's like....the reaction to Harry Potter by the religious nutcases. "We've never read the books but we think it promotes witchcraft and Satanism so we're gonna complain and burn books!"

The show has a ton of inside humor for the "older" set and my kid loves it at the same time....on top of that it's good animation that provides a positive message, what is there to hate really?!?! Sure, some people take it another level, but that is the fault of them not the show itself.
