Exploits Definition: An exploit is a software program that takes advantage of a bug, defect or glitch in another software program so that it executes in a way that the original writer did not intend. Usually this is done for malicious purposes.

It does not state that a 3rd party program can be applied to the game, It's not a bug or a defect and most deferentially not a glitch. The creator would have knew this was possible.

Hacking is bypassing something using a method that is not allowed, There are no safety protections to prevent this from happening, it's not a hack.

Its not a glitch in the system as its a 3rd party program and it cheating is a debatable opinion.

This rule isn't accurate enough to be valid and is so void.

It is a hack, because it required code to be placed in the minecraft folder for it to auto click mobs. it is cheating because it provides an unfair advantage on other players. It can be taken as an exploit as Notch did not intend the player to be able to click multiple times a second. never said it was a glitch, just quoted the rule, so wheesht

I would like to add to iHoolians appeal, that it is I who should be seen as the chief responsible for this lazy Cheat. It was 100% my idea and I was the initial user of this failed exercise.

My fellow Noxan were tempted beyond the duty of playing fair to join in on my indulgence.

The software with my mouse has a built in macro manager that makes it so if I felt like it I could just hold down a programmable button on my mouse and keep clicking a couple dozen times in under a second. I use it all the time in SP creative mode and on my personal server, it doesn't really provide any advantage except in creative. Using the macro on mobs rapidly drains hunger, I've tried it before in SP. This software came with my mouse, would that be listed under hacks/mods/exploits? (I've never used it on Minerealm as there is no point in doing so since I can't break blocks in one hit and I lose all my hunger in 2 seconds if I try to use it in PVP or against a mob.)

If it could do this continously for hours without you needing to touch your mouse, then yes you would be banned.

I need to hold down my mouse as it does all the clicks at once. I really don't see why it would be bannable as it gives me no advantages over anybody else because like I said I lose all my hunger if I try to fight anything or anyone with it, and not all the clicks register, only about 1 every tiny bit less than a second.
