i'm actually just three islands away from spawn and i have yet too see anyone, although its helps that I'm deep underground hidden & self sustaining

There is no place safe in Minecraft. But at least if you live close to the borders, it takes griefers and thieves longer to find you.

Agreed with Kress and Dazed. All that time in Tinderbox, no one found us. Distance keeps the looters and griefers down.
