This is pretty clear cut. He is attempting to circumvent the rules about portal camping, so he is banned. Staff members are not stupid. If you clearly try to circumvent rules like that, you will be banned.

Because of the confusion, I am going to unban kylefate. However, portal camping is still against the rules. I consider portal camping to be killing someone in the area immediately around a portal. I make no distinction in in you have been sitting at it long term, or if you just arrived. Killing people in the zone immediately around it is considered camping, and is a bannable offense.

A larger stickied post is currently awaiting approval from Intelli. However, I distinctly recall Cannabin being around when I was warning about it in game. He has even less excuse than normal.

Don't remember the nether being in SMP in 2.0

Well megaman, maybe you remember that we had pvp zones back then.

There were multiple places where you could leave a realm in 2.0, normally anywhere on its borders. When you go through a portal, there is a set destination that you go to, so sitting there racking up kills is much more effective than sitting on the border of Spawn City waiting for someone to come out.

All this was, was entrapment. Ever since that moderator told you it might be bannable, you continued to walk into the nether repeatedly, and stand motionless in that little portal room. It was apparent to every single on of us in party chat you were frapsing, and the fact you're actually used this video and trying to ban Canna for this is pretty disgusting.

But yeah, everyone hits a new low someday.

If anyone actually takes CirJohn seriously anymore, I'll be disappointed. There's no grounded, written rules on the Nether, and it's obvious all CirJohn is, is a neighborhood watch dog who likes to burn the neighbor he hates and pat the ones he loves on the back, when they're doing the exact same thing.

Until some rules are written somewhere, I don't see how this is even bannable at all. Canna's even gone as far as to apologize for this, which you apparently don't even care about.

If someone is banned, they broke the rules one way or another. If someone broke the rules and no proof is ever found, then they must not have broken the rules. =3
