So does this mean if i bought you 3 realms and gave you a stack of diamonds, you would support mine too? I smell Bribery within nordica..
Flanny's just jealous, ignore her. Or did King also manage to bribe the richest guy on the server?

Anyhow, KingofTurves has always been reasonable and helpful from what I've seen. It's rare for the entire community to back someone nearly unanimously - it's more than a coincidence.

Bump,
I wonder if any more mods are being taken on atm.
Help Bot does an excellent job getting most if not all the hackers and flyers entering the server and dealings with most swearing, etc.
This definately lessens the need for mods, however there are still land disputes and griefing incidents and rollbacks that can not be resolved without a mods help. Also with the work load lessened mods could take a more active role in helping out new players on the server.

Thank you kindly for all those who have supported my mod application to date.

Rather than an application being an active thing, they are typically passive. Intelli doesn't look through the apps and then find a mod spot of the good apps. When he decides there needs to be more mods he takes a look at the apps and considers who would make a good mod.

This means that your app is more like declaring you are available rather than asking to be a mod. Expect it to be quite some time before a mod spot opens, unless of course a mod snaps and losses his mind, which is possible given the crap they have to put up with.

Just today I saw king of turves helping out a new player who had just been greifed and there where no mods on, he walked to the player which was was a long way out from spawn. He then preceded to calm the player down and help him fix his house in such a way that a mod can see who damaged it and still trying to give the player his house back.
Also I have noticed that around 4-8pm gmt there are hardly ever any mods online so having a mod in the greenwich mean time this will help out players who are online at this time.

Look how old the thread is Nov. 28 was the last post day, today is Jan. 22nd. Necromancy is the so-called 'art' of raising the dead. This thread is dead until King himself bumps it. You necro'd it.
EDIT: :x is weird. I thought it was something else.

Thanks Leafwarrior and thank you triger. Interesting I wonder how often should I bump a mod application thread? I understand ceroux's point of view about these threads being mainly passive, but I guess they need to be updated occassionally to reflect any recent changes....

I say don't bump them. It's like forcing the mods/admins to look at it. Itll seem like you're saying "Friggin hire me already!", so I just wouldnt bump it at all.
