I came to my nether store, and found several things messed up. All my mossy cobble was missing, there were random holes in the floor, and someone covered up and blocked all my lava.
When a mod checked who did it, your name came up. I didn't know your past, I didn't recognize your name, so I simply assumed you were someone who stole my mossy cobble and blocked my lava in an effort to sneak in. If I knew you were a mod, I would have thought a bit more about it, and maybe not rushed to conclusions. But from what I saw it looked like pretty clear signs of griefing. Once the mod rolled back what you did, my floor was fixed, my mossy cobble was back, and my lava was restored. He asked if it was OK for you to do that, and I said no, because I figured you just trashed my place for no reason.
After reading your post, I feel that in-fact you were not griefing, and I would support your unbanning. I can understand you thought the lava was the result of griefing, and you had to tear up my floor to find and block the lava source blocks. I'm not sure why you took all the mossy cobble, but I can assume it would make sense as a way of reaching the lava source blocks. I can understand that you were in the process of trying to repair my store, and that is why it looked like that.
About the lava, I put it there on purpose to defend against people who would dig under my store to rob/ kill me. I can understand how you would have thought it was the result of griefing, and I understand that the damage done to my store was simply the result of an unfinished attempt to fix a problem you perceived.
Sorry for this misunderstanding. To make sure this doesn't happen again, I will put up signs near the lava saying it is part of my building. Also thanks for taking the initiative to fix my store, and sorry that this misunderstanding took place. I look forward to seeing you back in the game, and I hope this event doesn't make you hate me xD.
Thanks
