Does it really matter what you donate for? If people want to donate for the tag, let them. If people want to donate to keep the server running, that's also fine. Nobody is a better person than the other. This argument is pointless.

No Wxclm, Cannabin phrased it in a way which it could be interpreted differently. He meant that it's dumb if you donate just to get the tag, not to help Intelli or the server.

I never meant that donating to the production of the server was wrong, I just meant that donating to get a custom tag was equally dumb as donating to get a donor tag in it's own specificity and not donating to the server's cause.

Perhaps starting a Tags4Cash fund would be a great idea. I personally would donate $30 to permanently have [Stoner] tag before my name. Not to mention, it doesn't actually cost money to give a tag, so you'd be reeling in pure profit.

The price is there because more tags makes a server look unprofessional, like a kid has set it up and gave everyone a tag, and it's generally harder for new people to work out what the tags are and whom they go to for help.

So handing out tags to people who aren't willing to give up something is a bad idea.
