Ya, I should clarify, don't use it on minerealm. It should work fine in single player though

Nothing wrong with blowing up your realm, if you really want to do so :?
But I don't think you can expect to find a slime chunk with that method. Just start clearing out a 2-block-high room near the bottom of the map, and see where the slimes spawn.

Wouldn't TNT be the easiest way to make a slime farm? Or would that be too risky?

There is a slimefinder website that isnt a mod, you just enter the world seed, since you just have to press F3 to view the seed and not a mod, and the finder itself is not a mod, your still playing vanilla minecraft so why would that be illegal in minerealm?
