It looks like he used phpbb with custom html, using phpbb's sessions. (Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, Shar)

Html and php. The forums are made with php, but I didn't create that coding. It's a forum software called phpBB, which is what Minerealm.com uses as well and is what I used for my first real website a longg time ago.
