Steps, Follow in order.
1. Create Account
2. Buy game, it costs around $21
3. Download and install
4. Run, this will automatically create a folder called .minecraft, you can place the shortcut to the game on the desktop or anywhere you want
5. Open game
6. Wait for Updates.
7. click singleplayer and get a feel for the game, this way, you don't have to ask questions such as: "how do i open doors?"
8. after you get a feel for the game, go back to the main menu, click multiplayer, and type into the IP box, game.minerealm.com
9. read the rules at the spawn, and DO NOT steal, greif, hack, mod, exploit glitches, or do anything that gives you an unfair advantage or risk being banned for all eternity.
PS. if you cannot log on and/or it says OUTDATED SERVER, then don't fret, once the server moves to 1.8, you can log on, try creative.minerealm.com for a creative mode, which includes 1-hit-breaking, flying (double tap space, any other form is bannable) and unlimited items, to name a few.
continue to read the forums to avoid being banned and/or to check if 1.8 will come out for minerealm.
