I always thought that a big part of the Minerealm 2.0 was its PvP, I found the aspect of the game incredibly fun and engaging. Since 3.0 PvP has died, it only really happens in duels or when people willingly go into the nether. This has also meant the death of Realm wars, a brilliant system for PvP which created an incentive for realms to be the best and allowed them to show that they were better.
If we activated PvP during night time within public realms then it could bring life back to the PvP scene and provide a more challenging aspect of game play to the currently safe aspect of walking in the darkness (Because of the lack of monsters).
Obviously this would take some coding and time to do but I do think that it will improve the game in the long run.
