Just going to throw my opinion in here before the inevitable locking comes, I think that technology is fine to a certain degree. Recently, one of my friends was the victim of a car crash, he then used his phone to text his mother and friends (myself included) that he was fine and not to worry. This is the positive of always having a device on you.

However, when someone posts a picture of their Mcdonalds or something on the twitter verse with the absolutely delightful comment underneath of, "Look what I just got!" This is pointless, no one cares, thus the negatives of technology begin to show.

Side Note: As a kid who was shouted at when bad and cuffed around the ear when extremely bad, I think discipline of children is fine up to a certain degree. I'm pretty sure I would have turned out a lot more demanding if I wasn't told off. But then again, I am still a teenager, so maybe i'm not as experienced as some of the actual parents on here.
