Then please do explain to me why I constantly see staff members kick people for breaking the rule. As well as reprimand them?

What rules are you talking about? This is mist. Anarchy rules. There are no rules besides the obvious. You loose your things? Too bad. Someone kills you hundreds of times? Too bad you should have hidden. The only "rule" that exists is about spawn camping. This is enforced by the code that auto kills you for spam killing so people can't tp away home. But as Soc said, its perfectly legal to kill someone anywhere at any time. I've never seen anyone been scolded for killing during mist unless there is some sort of whining/swearing/outside-conflict involved.

The safe zone is shown below. If you kill someone (even if its your first kill) in that area, It will automatically Kill you.
That area has been enforced, if you kill someone there. I have been kicked out the game for attacking someone in that area. As I stated before. I worn nothing, I had nothing I simply watched.

A staff kicked you out of the game? Or did you lag out? As I understand the coding, it will only kill you, not kick you.


^Note the red likes. Seems that any area is fair game for a kill. Doesn't matter if you are wearing nothing at all and minding your own business. Mist is global pvp, there is nowhere safe to hide in theory (in practice just /home and you are safe pretty much). The spawn area is not designed to be a "safe zone" and the auto kill function again serves to stop people from instantly killing you endlessly not giving you a chance to run. This does not mean they can't do it, it just means that if they want to kill you instantly, they will pay a cost.

The whole instant death thing was first implemented because people would constantly spam attack and you couldn't even get the chance to /home away to gear up. Instant death makes them hesitant to kill you until you move a bit. This is all that this is. If they manage to push you out of the center area and kill you thats perfectly fair.

If killing people at spawn was illegal, then shouldn't there at least an auto-warning for that? There's already an auto-insta-kill, and an auto-warning could have easily been implemented when the auto-kill was implemented.

Furthermore, the auto-kill was implemented to discourage spawn killing not render it illegal.

Nothing "safe" about that God forbidden zone. Let explain to you your augument vs mine. "Go home it's your decision to go to spawn" When I respawn I drop to 0 fps cuz best buy ripped me off. Even the internets fine. Anyways. you can still be attacked at your supposed safe zone. So what the killer dies? You still lose your stuff if that happens. To explain it in an earier way. Say Two vortex memers are at spawn during the mist one goes to me while im at my 0 fps state kills me and while he respawns the other collects my stuff or xp.

I have been kicked out by Staff because I attacked them in that area. the notice said something along the lines of "Kicked: do not attack people within the spawn point." Granted this was a couple weeks ago. and not as dependable, I can say for sure I was kicked for attacking someone within the spawn point.
