Just in confirmation of pcgamer's post, the server suffered a major lag spike (chests and commands inoperable) ... I left the server and tried coming back in a minute later ... each reconnection attempt since gives the message "Failed to connect to the server. Internal Exception: io.netty.handler.timeout.ReadTimeoutException".

I think its got something to do with where I am and the portals I was deactivating I relogged and the server went down again

Is the server down?
My client is taking a while to get a response from the server, then comes back as offline.

To Second Dog's post, I was connected about a half hour ago, and started lagging. The lag grew progressively worse until I was disconnected multiple times. Now, I can no longer connect, or even ping the server.
Possibly Related: my browser won't completely load the main-page of this site, minerealm.com.
